Main objectives of the Department:

• It is the custodian of finances of the Institute and Ensures compliance with management policies
• It is responsible for the receipts and making payments on behalf of the Institute
• It gives financial advices to the Chief Executive of the Institute.
• Assessing adequacy and compliance with internal control systems and making corrective recommendation(s).
• Ensures compliance with internal control systems, financial regulations and circulars
• Ensures economy, efficiency and effectiveness in utilizing scarce resources.
