Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, International Fund for Agricultural Development and World Food Programme, seminar celebrating the International Year of Millets in Nigeria.
Lake Chad Research Institute Maiduguri has the National mandate of Millets in Nigeria. The Director/CEO Lake Chad Research Institute Prof Baba Gana Jugudum Kabir led a team from the Institute that comprised of the Director Research and HOD Cereals – Dr Zakari Turaki and the Program Leader Millet – Dr Maryam Abba Dawud at the seminar which took place at Reiz Continental Hotel Abuja – Nigeria.
